Amazing staff and cozy atmosphere

I really enjoyed my stay, especially the friendly and helpful staff who made me feel right at home. The decor had a lovely historic charm, and my room was comfortable with a cozy atmosphere. The On-site dining options were delightful, with great quality meals. I think the hotel could improve by updating some fixtures for a more polished experience.

Had a fantastic time with my friends! We visited the beautiful Wye Valley and the historic Hereford Cathedral. The hotel was a great base – clean rooms and friendly staff. There's limited parking, so arrive early for a spot. The food was surprisingly good too! Perfect for group gatherings. we’ll definitely return.

Really enjoyed our stay with the family and dogs. The location was convenient for exploring Herefordshire, and we had a lovely time at the local Thai restaurant next door. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome throughout our visit.

the green dragon has a lovely facade and reception, creating a warm welcome. its location is fantastic, just a short walk from the cathedral and the charming old town streets. the staff were also very helpful, making our stay much easier. it's great to hear they are starting refurbishment too!

Had a great experience! The room was spacious with a super comfy king-size bed, a flat-screen TV, and electric kettle. The bathroom was clean with free toiletries. It was also nice having USB plug sockets by the bed. The hotel was in a fab central spot, close to shops and the Cathedral. Breakfast offered a hearty full English, and we enjoyed local drinks at the bar.

The room I had was a bit cramped, lacking any remote control for the TV, which was a bit odd. The early check-in policy left much to be desired. arriving early for a wedding only to be told I had to pay £15 to access my room was frustrating. The view from my window was less than impressive, marred by a messy exterior. The breakfast setup was disorganized, with staff not clear on options available, leading to confusion about what we could order. All in all, while the hotel has its merits, these little inconveniences can put a damper on the experience.

Had a lovely experience! The place is in a fab central spot with a nice vibe. The room was spacious and comfy, really enjoyed the rainfall shower too. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially during breakfast. Just wish the lift was bigger for wheelchair access. a solid stay for the price!
